Event Description:

The Home Run, now in its 11th year is expanding to include not only the 5K, but also the area's newest 10K race! The 10K will follow a new, single-loop 10K course through the Westhaven subdivision.

Of course, the race will also include the popular 5K race and 1 mile fun run. Also new this year is a 100-yard kids' run for the little ones.

As always, the race will feature a post-race pancake breakfast at the City Hotel, complete with the normal array of good prizes and awards.

Awards will be presented to the top 3 men and women overall (10K, 5K, 1 mile), plus top 3 men and women in: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ (10K & 5K). All participants in the kids' run will receive prizes.

Runners will be timed using East Carolina Road Racing's Ipico Sport chip timing system.
