Event Description:

The Peanut Festival 5K, held in conjunction with the annual Edenton Peanut Festival, takes place on the scenic Edenton waterfront (214 E. Water St., Edenton, NC 27932).

The course goes through the beautiful surroundings of Edenton Bay and Hayes Plantation. The race will be followed by a parade, craft fair, chicken/BBQ and a band competition.

Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female finishers and top 3 in the following categories: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.
